When it comes to updating a woodshop's assembly process, everything depends on the clamps. There will be times when the demanding requirements of industrial workloads require a clamp with minimal flex that can apply a heavy dose of clamping force to close the gaps on today's larger panels. Given that, the best way to go is with BESSEY Tools new IBeam bar clamps. Their 1-3/8" engineered beam is incredibly stiff and resists bend or bow, unlike your old clamps, and especially over a longer distance. That means the jaws stay aligned, even under the most extreme pressure.

Available in eight lengths ranging from 24" to 96", there's an IBeam clamp for just about any job. The variety of lengths makes them ideal for tasks where minimal flex is important, such as wide assemblies like stair treads or countertops.

The tough, ductile castings on BESSEY's IBeam clamps are powder coated for decades of durability. And the rail is nickel plated to resist corrosion, allowing the moveable jaws to slide with ease, and then lock in place with absolute reliability. That's because the locking mechanism is five strong, hardened steel clutch plates.

These clamps are equipped with a crank handle that delivers tremendous strength and long-term durability. Each handle has a fast-acting ACME threaded screw with a 9⁄16" spindle diameter. It also has a large, easy-to-hold, ergonomically designed grip that allows the woodworker to apply just the right amount of torque to get the job done. In fact, a BESSEY IBeam clamp can apply more pressure than virtually any other manual clamp on the market – up to an astonishing 7,000 lbs. of clamping force! And feet cast into the jaws elevate the work and allow the handles to turn completely, even over a workbench.

When it comes to re-tooling decisions, let BESSEY handle the pressure.
